Conversation with Daffodils

Sitting in the late afternoon sun, the light fell dramatically on the Daffodils, yanking my attention away from our conversation. It made me reflect upon how random moments of beauty can both distract from the everyday as well as imprint those moments for a lifetime. Painting such moments serves to reinforce the experience. Call this my “Why I Paint” moment.
